Easaway Environmental monitor and evaluate on a regular and on-going basis their internal and external infrastructure to ensure sufficient resources are in place in all areas to cover all contracts. Our business premises, employees, managers, resources, equipment, suppliers and partnerships are all considered.
The Easaway Fleet:
Throughout 2015, Easaway Environmental invested in the renewal and expansion of its fleet to reduce the likelihood of potential breakdowns, reduce their carbon footprint and, in general, improve the image of the company through a newer more efficient fleet of vehicles.
Our fleet ranges from Jet Pack vans that are useful in clearing most blockages to higher pressure vehicles such as Jetting and Vacuumation tankers fro the more challenging blockages or when liquids and sludges require sucking out and disposing of.
Also, items such as a Root Cutter attachment can be used with the bigger appliances when required. We also have a selection of smaller vans that are used for site visits, plumbing and cleaning works as they are more fuel and cost effective. The upgrading of our fleet has recently gained us a 4 Stars with Eco Stars Fleet Recognition Scheme.
Easaway Environmental employ an in-house mechanic who maintains our fleet on a regular basis which guarantees our vehicles are always in great shape and the risk of breakdown is minimal, in turn, enables us to complete our works within our Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements giving our clients and customers peace of mind. Carried onboard our fleet is items that include but not limited to CCTV Survey units, drain truing sonde’s, kinetic air rams and drain rods (please see plant list below for full details).
Easaway Environmental has a central office and depot based at Four Seasons Road, Crossgates, Leeds, LS15 8EL and services the Leeds City Council Term Maintenance Contract and all our contracts across the West Yorkshire area. The M62 corridor from Hull going West through Wakefield, Castleford, Huddersfield, Calderdale, Kirklees, Halifax, Skipton and Bradford are all serviced from our Leeds base. We also have offices and staff in Selby, North Yorkshire servicing Selby, Goole, York, Ryedale areas and as far as Bridlington and Scarbrough.
Easaway has a great hands-on team from our Board of Directors to our engineers out on the road.
Each is fully trained and multi-skilled within their given area of the business and competent in carrying out their duties efficiently and professionally.

Having reliable resources available from our providers and partners is instrumental when delivering a responsive service.
In the unlikely event that we we experience a breakdown or repair to a piece of equipment we have outlets available locally where the repair is carried out, and a replacement item obtained until the repair is complete.
It is our policy to use the services of local people and businesses where practicably possible for office and materials supplies.
We actively research and contact companies to offer quotes for services as they arise.
Our supply chain currently consists of 98% local, SME providers in each area we cover.
Over the past 20 years, strong relationships and partnerships have been built on reliability, trust and honesty.
We work closely with local charities offering sponsorship and support.
St. Georges Crypt, Canopy Housing and Cancer Research have all benefitted from our fundraising and offers of free time and equipment for things such as the removal of offensive graffiti and chewing gum to cleaning wheelie bins.
Further relationships have been built with local colleges and schools as we offer work experience opportunities.
If required, we will provide a progression on to a local training provider to support enrolment on a young or adult apprenticeship with the objective of becoming a fully certified employee of the company, holding an NVQ L2 or L3 in the chosen vocational area.
